Overview

I’m a policy and technology professional exploring the intersections of compliance, emerging tech, and responsible innovation. My career spans affordable housing regulation, PropTech solutions, and AI governance—with a growing focus on how technology can serve regulated industries ethically and effectively.

Background & Journey

My foundation is in affordable housing compliance, where I spent over a decade navigating federal and state regulatory frameworks (HUD, LIHTC, DHCR) while creating policies, training materials, and documentation for complex government programs. Working in a regulation-heavy industry taught me that clarity isn’t optional—when people don’t understand requirements, systems fail.

As Director of Compliance at Trinity Management, I led regulatory initiatives that resulted in a 34% improvement in compliance outcomes. Before that, I spent eleven years as a Senior Compliance Manager overseeing 26 properties across four states, developing training materials for PropTech applications, and managing communications with government agencies, investors, and residents.

In 2023, I joined RealPage as a Customer Solutions Architect, where I now bridge policy and technology—supporting clients navigating regulatory requirements while testing AI systems for accuracy and bias in compliance contexts. This role deepened my interest in AI governance, prompt engineering, and ensuring emerging technologies work safely in high-stakes, regulated environments.

Why Technology Matters

Real estate and housing have been central to my career, and I’ve witnessed firsthand how technology can either empower or complicate work in regulated industries. I’m fascinated by PropTech innovation—from compliance automation to AI-assisted workflows—and believe our industry needs voices who understand both the regulatory landscape and the technology transforming it.

Beyond my day job, I maintain a side interest in real estate development and innovation. I’m exploring how technology can streamline traditionally manual processes in real estate operations, particularly around access management and user experience in property-related services. My compliance background gives me a unique lens on navigating the complex intersection of innovation and regulation.

Current Focus

I’m actively expanding my technical foundation through AWS Cloud Institute (2025-2027) and pursuing certifications in Computer Science (Harvard EdX) and AI Development (IBM). My goal is to work at the intersection of policy, technology, and innovation—whether that’s government affairs, AI governance, technical program management, or building solutions for regulated industries.

I’m particularly interested in:

  • AI ethics and responsible deployment in regulated contexts
  • Policy frameworks for emerging technology
  • PropTech innovation that serves communities
  • How technology can make complex systems more transparent and accessible

Personal Philosophy

Outside of work, I’m a lifelong learner, avid meditator, and explorer of the connections between technology, consciousness, and society.
